Tofino’s Agata Pydzinska needs to raise $2,000 so she can walk to end women’s cancers.
The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers from August 14 to 15 in Vancouver includes thousands of participants who will walk 60 kilometres to fight breast cancer.
“My mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and passed in 2008,” Pydzinska, who works at Long Beach Lodge, told the Westerly. “It’s basically for her.”
